In 2023, Chinese oil companies have received widespread praise from international peers for providing technical services overseas. Faced with complex construction environments, overcome numerous difficulties with foreign employees to ensure high-quality operation of the project. There are a total of 1206 service teams in China's petroleum engineering technology service business, distributed in 48 countries, forming multiple overseas markets with an average annual contract value exceeding 100 million US dollars. The engineering construction team is distributed in 77 countries and has been awarded the title of "Top 10 Global Oil and Gas Engineering Contractors".

In 2023, the Tuha Oilfield Gas Lift Technology Center will ensure continuous gas lift operations in Kazakhstan, expand intermittent gas lift operations, and increase oil production by 40700 tons. Tuha Qiju has entered the Hafaya market in Iraq for the first time, conducting research and testing on surface oil and gas mixed transportation, pressure reduction, and production increase technology for two wells in the Kenkiyak oil field, achieving good results. It has also reached a cooperation intention with Sinopec Central Asia Hafaya Oilfield Company, significantly enhancing its market efficiency.

Connect the 'last mile' of independent exports

Narrator: Li Zhicheng Tuha Qiju, Safety Director of Central Asia Project Department

Against the backdrop of accelerating the pace of increasing reserves and production in overseas oil fields, how to quickly introduce a large number of gas lift tools into Kazakhstan's Rangnaror oil field has become a key point for gas lift personnel in Tuha oil field to solve on-site problems. The tight construction schedule and the cost of third-party export services have put a sudden increase in pressure on us to provide overseas market services. Tuha Qi decided to export goods from Kazakhstan as the main body of foreign trade contracts, changing the situation of high cost and complex third-party tool exports.

Just do what you say. We have established a temporary foreign trade team, led by Wu Jian, the director of the Machinery Institute of Tuha Oilfield Oil Production Technology Research Institute. We have communicated and coordinated with our sister units in advance, optimized and improved the tool export plan multiple times, and fully implemented key links such as export contract signing, product supply, quality testing, and transportation to the destination in Kazakhstan. Technical personnel work overtime to inspect, debug, package, and prepare foreign trade documents for export tools. All personnel strictly operate with high quality and high standards in accordance with the operating procedures.

Although we have cleared the "last mile" of independent exports, opportunities always come with challenges. These tools are being transported abroad by railway for the first time, and we need to do a good job of unloading, warehousing, and inventory in Kazakhstan. Due to the limited number of on-site staff, we worked overtime for two or three consecutive days, unloading and counting vehicles day and night, and finally managed to inventory all the tools into the warehouse.

In 2023, a total of 4 batches of tools and materials will be transported to Kazakhstan by Tuha Qiju. Every time, we have successfully completed the tasks of inventory management, tool classification, pre well inspection, and on-site use, because we deeply understand the importance of independent export trade for Tuha Qiju to expand its market.
